| Day 1: | Flight to Houston transfer to hotel. | |
| Day 2: |
Morning visit to George Ranch Historical Park to see a century of Texas history including farm, mansion, cowboy camp and more. After lunch we travel to Lake Conroe set in a beautiful of rolling hills and tall pines. We have a short visit to Conroe Outlet mall before returning to the hotel. |

| Day 3: | Full day trip to Houston Space Centre where the story of America’s manned space flight is told. We see Mission Control, Mercury, Gemini and Apollo capsules, spacesuits and equipment and IMAX film of space travel. | |
| Day 4: | Houston International Quilt Show. | |
| Day 5: | Houston International Quilt Show. | |
| Day 6: | Houston International Quilt Show. | |
| Day 7: | Houston International Quilt Show. | |
| Day 8: |
In the morning we visit the Bayou Bend Collection of American decorative arts housed in a stately old Houston house. There are 20 rooms of American style from Colonial to mid 19th century including furniture, paintings and textiles. This afternoon is free for you to sample Houston’s shopping, museums, aquarium, zoo or arboretum. |

| Day 9: |
Day visit to Galveston, a barrier island 2 miles offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. In the 1970’s the Historical foundation began restoring the Victorian buildings and now the strand district and the East End are both full of interesting and attractive properties. The Treasure Island train takes us on a 11/2hr tour of points of interest. Maybe we can even fit in an hour or soon the beach!! home. |

The last day a visit to Old Town Spring nestled among sycamore and pecan trees it is a beautifully restored, turn of the century railroad town, contains specialty shops, galleries and museums. Then onto the airport for our flight home. |
