This tour we have planned around the Quilt Extravaganza in Waterloo, which has different quilt exhibits around the area, plus the quilt show which includes an auction of Mennonite and Amish quilts, demonstrations and of course the vendors for all your fabric buying!!
We will also visit Niagara Falls, which includes a ride on “The Maid of the Mist.” Have a scenic ride through some of the Canadian countryside. Experience early Canadian Mennonite life, time at the Farmers Market, craft studios, quilt shops and outlet shopping mall, finishing with a day in the modern city of Toronto.

Flight from London to Toronto. Transfer to the Hotel in Kitchener, St Jacobs area approx 1 hour. |

| Day 2: | Day in St Jacobs - Farmers Market, Craft Studios, Quilt shops. A visit to the Art Gallery to attend a reception and view quilts. | |

The Quilt show - quilt exhibit, demonstrations, vendors for all those fabrics. Preview the Quilt Auction. |

| Day 4: |
Attend the Mennonite relief sale and auction in New Hamburg. Return to the Quilt show. |

| Day 5: |
Free day - St Jacobs, Doon Heritage Crossroads, Toronto etc. |

| Day 6: |
Tour Mennonite Country to learn the history and customs of Mennonite Life meet with a Mennonite Quilter in her home, visit Quilt and Fabric shops. |

| Day 7: |
Depart for Brantford, visit Kanata Native Village and Woodland Cultural Centre. Visit to Canada’s best-known crafter’s haven, with a vast collection of crafts. |

| Day 8: |
Lakeside tours - Stratford festival Theatre for a behind the scenes look at the costume department. On to Goderich (called one of Canada’s prettiest towns) on Lake Huran, take a walk along the shoreline and stroll through the town; maybe stop at a quilt shop. |

| Day 9: |
Visit to Niagara Falls, take an unforgettable venture out into the mist of the, thundering waters on the boat “Maid of the Mist.” Drive the scenic route stopping at local attractions and quilt shops. |

Check out of the hotel and back to the exciting modern City of Toronto, visit shops, quilt shops, Textile museum, lunch and a Harbour cruise before travelling to the airport for our flight to London. | |
